Please read the attached documents. In one paragraph, summarize Carr's arguments. Then, identify what you think are the most important counter-arguments.
For next week, I want to focus on technical topics. We’ll talk about Open Source software and Websites. As a result, the only reading is “The Cathedral & the Bazaar” by Eric Raymond (http://firstmonday.org/issues/issue3_3/raymond/). As always, please follow the below procedure to upload your slides/handouts & reading summary.

This week, we will be focusing on governance as our business topic. Please download and read the following articles. After you read them, please fill out the required reading summary by following these steps:
Please note that we will have 4 presentations next week, including the 2 small ones that were due last week, and 2 major ones. The major case studies should be a 20 minute presentation followed by up to 10 minutes of Q&A.
You should also have a 3-4 page report handout. I want the report to primarily focus upon your analysis and conclusions -- do not just restate your presentation. You should view the report as an opportunity to reinforce your suggestions.
The case description document is below with the link to where you can purchase each case, as well as specific questions I would like your presentation to answer. Feel free to move beyond what I request, just make sure that you do cover each point.
At least one person from each team is responsible for emailing me with their team members, cases, and the days on which we agreed they would present.
Please remember to upload your reading summaries, slides, and handouts from previous weeks. I'll go thru & record grades before next class.
