Who am I?

Bronwen Casson was for twenty-five years a stage and costume designer at the National Theatre of Ireland. In 2003 she graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology (BA: Photography and Digital Imaging.) She has just completed the MA course “Virtual Realities” at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.
Her most recent media works are the Installation, “The Sun rising over the Sea” in the MA Graduate Show at the Digital Hub, Dublin: June 2007, an Audio Installation: “No Man’s Land”, which has been exhibited as part of Sound Lab sonic art project IV~ “Memoryscapes”. An audio version of her video, This Business of Living, this Business of Dying, will be part of SoundLAB - Edition V: sonic art project: “soundSTORY”
Her mixed media collages “Moonscapes and Ebb Tide” were exhibited at Airfield House, Co. Dublin, in 2006, and her current works: “Sunrises” (Series 1: Metallic foil and cling film, Series 2: fibre glass and canvas) are a development of this collage technique, and based on the imagery of the sun rising over the Sea.
