            <description><![CDATA[<p style="margin:0in 0in 0pt"  class="Default"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman'">This research community sprouted from the work done on the claremont conversation (this site). We have already taken the initial steps to provide our campus with a virtual space for students and faculty to collaborate. However, we acknowledge that a number of limitations exist&nbsp;within current online social networking sites (OSNs). Currently, OSNs rely primarily on a user&rsquo;s network of friends or random content searching for discovering new peer-to-peer (P2P) connections.&nbsp;In this research</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman'"> community we collaborate to discover new ways technology (and particularly, datamining) can be used to discover potential new connections across an OSN.</span></p>]]></description>
