I just learned about this at the Fall meeting of the Coalition of Networked Information.  It's the brainchild of historians at George Mason University to bring into the web browser environment holistic support of the information gathering and assimilation process.  It's open source, emulates the iTunes interface and presents and interactive environment seamless to how we are increasingly behaving in the web environment.  It's very exciting.  Check out the Demo!

Right now, if one makes a comment to a blog entry and then flags the blog as interesting to follow, the comment disappears.  I think the flag prompt should display ABOVE the comment section so that one does that first before putting in a comment.

The most streamlined approach (fewest clicks) I have figured out is to make every member of our class a Friend and then use the "Friends Blogs" link at the top of one's own blog to see all newest blog entries in reverse chronological order.  In that listing the links are there to add a comment and to see where comments have been left.  It doesn't seem to matter if the blog is "public" or "restricted" to our community.  At least I can see Terry's, Avra's and Jesus' blogs that  all claim to be restricted.  Has anyone figured out  a better arrangement to also see comments as they are posted?  Kim
