I am a Master's student in the Information Systems and Tech Dept. I am from the Boeing El Segundo campus program. This program has been challenging since I come from a non-technical and non-IS background.
I currently work at the Satellite Development Center for Boeing in the Supplier Management Finance Organization as a senior financial analyst and team lead for automation and reporting. That is how I became interested in systems and information technology. I always seek to learn what I don't understand.
In 1995 I earned a bachelor of business administration from Loyola Marymount University. I specialized in International Business and Finance landed my first job as a tax collector for the IRS. Was that ever an eye opener to the real world. I then went on to work for aerospace at TRW (now Northrop Grumman) and then, after a brief stint at the height of the dot.com cycle with KPMG Consulting (now Bearing Point.com) I came back to aerospace and have been with Boeing since 2001. During this time I also explore in the area of interior design and art and discovered that this is a great hobby to have and enjoy because it stimulates my creative side.
