Brian Thoms spent the first third of his life living on the outskirts of NYC in a small whaling community on Long Island (whaling has since become illegal).
He attended Fordham University as an undergraduate where he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Brian went on to complete a Masters of Science in Information Management @ Stevens Institute of Technology. He is currently enrolled in the PhD program @ Claremont Graduate University in the School of Information Systems and Technology (SISAT).
Before working as a research assistant for SL Squared, he worked for five years as a software developer and analyst for Citigroup in downtown Manhattan. Thanks to modern science, Brian is able to live comfortably in Orange County, California.
When he grows up he wishes to play third base for the NY Yankees.
Brian's alternate ego/personality can be found in a myriad of sites and sounds across the information superhighway. Search google, but don't confuse me with Brian D. Thoms, he's a physicist @ Georgia State.

i first and foremost would like to play third base for the yankees. i think i am still pretty good. i may be a bit out of shape, but my bat and arm are still strong. besides, it's baseball, so how in shape do i have to be? and i don't take steroids so i'd be a good role model for the kids.
