I am Associate Professor and Dean of the School of Information Systems and Technology at Claremont Graduate University . I also co-direct the Social Learning Software Lab.

Most of my research relates to two themes: 1) learning, training, and knowledge systems and 2) system design, development, and evaluation. Many of my projects lately have involved action research and/or design research.

I teach courses in IS development and research methods.
