Final Project Home Page > 3 CGU History

The goal of this section is to construct a contextual (including historical) backdrop for the study.  Group members will seek to understand the history, culture and context of the "Claremont Conversation."

While Group 1 will frame the research questions and objectives, the output of this group will be to address the background and context of those questions.  The following examples are provided:

1. How did the different disciplinary approaches at CGU develop over time?

2. What is the role of inductive knowledge at CGU? How did this role develop over time?

3. How does CGU's history/culture shape its current research activities?

4. What is the role of social conversation at CGU? What role does CGU's history/culture play in today's social conversation?

Group Members:  Kathryn, Seth, Justina (recommended), Yesenia (recommended)
